Job description: Software Engineer Messaging (C++, C#)

In this job, you will be responsible for developing one of Fenestrae's software components in a high technology environment. You will participate in the messaging team concentrating on development of our fax products.
You will be jointly responsible for achieving Development objectives and realize tactical and strategic company objectives.

Role specification:

• Develop and execute high quality software and technical design.
• Develop fax/mobile short message (sms) related business applications.
• Work on high speed server implementations.
• Work on api's handling T.38, Fax over IP (FOIP) and sms protocols, connecting to Microsoft Exchange and other interfaces.
• Take care of the technical documentation of the software component you have developed and make sure this documentation is understandable by colleagues.
• Maintain strong relationships with Fenestrae's Development, Test, Product Management and Support departments/employees regarding product development and issues. Keep in contact with these departments and share information.
• Contribute towards improving current products and developing new products.

• HBO/Academic, graduate level in ICT science and general knowledge of IT.
• 2-4 years work experience as (junior) software engineer.
• Good knowledge of English, good knowledge of Dutch is preferred.
• Familiar with Microsoft Windows Server environments.
• Minimum of 2 years experience in Visual C++ on Windows.
• Experience in C# .Net programming is a pro.
• Concrete and sufficient technical knowledge of at least some of the following technologies: internet protocols, fax communication protocols, security, authentication, HTTP(S), XML, mobile messaging (SMS).
