NetStore was the first ASP to achieve a Stock Exchange Listing in Europe on April 19th 2000, raising £40 Million and valuing the Group at £140m. NetStore is ranked 8th in the Bain & Company's influential 'e25', a list of elite companies that will have the greatest impact on development and growth of the Internet. Headquartered in Bracknell, UK, NetStore has 120 employees, with offices in Manchester and Paris.

The Challenge
NetStore was looking for a wireless solution that would provide its users with mobile access to NetStore's Microsoft ® Exchange 2000™ service. The company needed a way to offer additional ASP services to its target market in Europe. NetStore was looking for a system that would be easy to use, offer optimal functionality and interface with its existing programmes. NetStore recognised the importance to its existing and future customers to have mobile access to their business-critical information.

The Solution
Netstore was first introduced to Fenestrae in October 2000 as a result of working together in the setting up of a Communications Network at the Microsoft Exchange Conference in Nice. In November 2000, after carefully considering several other factors, including ease of use, functionality, technology independence and partner relationships, NetStore's Product Strategy Group, led by Product Manager Tukun Chatterjee, selected Fenestrae's mobile solutions.

NetStore was able to integrate Fenestrae's mobile solutions EMS immediately. That, added to its support of both WAP and SMS technology, made it the solution of choice for NetStore. All NetStore users now have real-time access to information stored in their Microsoft ® Exchange™ environment using any mobile device. The fact that no synchronisation or logging on is needed when accessing e-mail, contact details or electronic calendar was a primary reason for NetStore's choice of Fenestrae EMS as its mobile solution. Fenestrae's outstanding performance and experience in developing applications with seamless integration with Microsoft ® Exchange 2000™ sealed the deal. Furthermore, Netstore needed a mobile solution that could grow and expand along with their future service offerings. The ability to easily connect to databases and CRM applications was a key selling point

"Fenestrae's mobile solutions are the best products to meet our increasing demand for access to corporate information".

The Fenestrae mobile solution enables NetStore's executives and revenue generating staff to maximise productivity and timely information. The system will be implemented in NetStore's Max2000 service once the current pilot programme is fully operational. Fenestrae's proven expertise in mobile access, the reliability of its software and its success with Microsoft Exchange Conference Nice™ made a logical choice ahead of the competition in mobile access to corporate information. Currently, NetStore deploys its WAP mobile phones and PDAs to access mobile information remotely.

"Fenestrae mobile solution meets everyone's requirements: mobile workers get easy access to Microsoft® Exchange™, and IT gets centralized administration of a secure solution".
