Software Development Lead (Azure)

As Software Development Lead you will be responsible for the development, building and design of server applications and cloud solutions together with our distributed teams. A key focus point will be creating SaaS solutions which are robust, maintainable, scalable and aligned with our strategic vision.

Our customers are typically large enterprises with installations in datacentres across the globe or cloud solutions made globally available via Microsoft Azure. You will be part of the development team with a range of expertise, located in our HQ in The Hague.


Duties & Responsibilities
  • Translate the company's vision into viable software products and cloud solutions.
  • Enhance architectural designs, develop software and implement it on cloud platforms such as Microsoft Azure.
  • Manage requirements/constraints such as security, scalability, performance, availability and redundancy. Ensure requirements can be met at acceptable costs and with acceptable tradeoffs.
  • Day-to-day management; communicate the design across the team and foster an environment of shared goals, collective ownership and collaboration in building software solutions.
  • Coach and mentor developers design, implementations approaches and techniques.
  • Ensure designs and implementations fulfill not only functional needs but also non-functional needs such as maintaining, testing and supporting the build solutions.
Profile:
  • Degree in Computer Science or related field (or equivalent work experience)
  • Professional experience is required.
  • Deep understanding of architectural concepts and the fundamentals of good software design.
  • Broad knowledge and proven experience with development technologies such as C# .Net, JavaScript and platforms such as Microsoft Azure.
  • Experience with Continuous Integration & Delivery.
  • Communicate effectively and efficiently, and maintain positive work relations.
  • Exhibit a passion for learning and continuous improvement. Take responsibility for acquiring new skills and broadening knowledge.

Manager Global Delivery & Customer Support

As Global Delivery & Customer Support Manager you will be responsible for delivering pre/post-sales support together with our distributed team and partners. A key focus point will be managing customer migration from on-premise solutions to SaaS. Our customers are typically large enterprises in Financial Services, Healthcare and Manufacturing. Your role will see you both managing these teams as well as directly engage with tier one customers and prospects.

Duties & Responsibilities
  • Technical delivery of software & cloud solutions.
  • Deliver projects within the constraints of a scope, budget, schedule and meeting (or exceeding) customers' expectations.
  • Leading, managing and coaching consultants and the distributed support team.
  • Documenting, reporting, and updating management and customers on running projects.
  • Pre-sales support
Competencies:
  • You are skilled in:
  • Technical delivery / consultancy of ICT implementation projects both on premise and in cloud environments.
  • Project management; knowing how to deliver and implement software solutions.
  • Proven experience with the windows ecosystem (Active Directory, SQL, Exchange)
  • Experienced with cloud platforms such as Microsoft Azure.
  • But even more important:
  • Be a trusted project leader, who steers/directs and motivates the team.
  • Know how to turn a project into a great customer experience and a success.
  • Enthusiastic in leading our customers through the strategic change of an on premise ICT to a cloud solution.
  • You have a hands-on and can-do attitude which gets the job done.
