MFP Connector

Multifunction Peripherals (MFP's) or multifunctional printers/scanners or copiers that scan, copy, print, and fax, are appearing more and more in business environments.

Having more multifunctional devices means introducing new opportunities for your business and users to communicate as well as create new maintenance and administrative challenges.
Integrating your multifunctional devices with Fenestrae fax server software allows you to leverage least-cost routing through fax-over-IP or remote fax servers/devices. In addition, this integration provides a central archival repository in for example Microsoft SharePoint or SQL server for all sent and received fax messages regardless of the origination point, covering the need for secure filing.

The Fenestrae MFP Connector allows you to send fax messages from the multifunctional printer via Fenestrae Communication Server 2010.

Features

  • Delivery notifications can be sent back to the MFP or delivered directly into the user’s mailbox.
  • Incoming fax messages can be delivered (printed) to an MFP and/or delivered simultaneously to a mailbox, public/shared folder or distribution list.
  • Fenestrae's newest MFP related solution makes it possible to directly scan documents into the relevant SharePoint folder without the need of additional software. For more information click here.

Supported MFPs

The Fenestrae MFP Connector supports any multifunction peripherals i.e. from HP, Xerox, Canon, OCE and Ricoh out of the box. The connector is extensible, allowing for similar devices from any other manufacturers to be supported.
