The Montana Group has been present on the domestic and Western European IT market since 1989. Members of the group include:

  • Montana Rt.
  • Montana Computer-Consulting GmbH
  • Noreg Kft.

The consolidated turnover of the group in the year 2000 exceeded 7 billion HUF. Montana Rt., active primarily on the domestic market, employs 140 individuals at its facilities in Budapest and Szeged, while the subsidiary Noreg Kft., dealing in information security solutions, employs a further 7 individuals. Montana Computer-Consulting GmbH in München, active in software exports, employs more than 80 software developers, who work on various projects for numerous large West-European corporations. Some of these latter projects are carried out as off-shore developments, meaning that they are conducted at the premises of the company ordering the project or by means of state-of-the-art data transmission tools from the developer’s base at Montana, as per request.

The group’s list of customers includes mid-sized and large domestic corporations, as well as numerous government administration institutions. Montana Rt. has been the official supplier of government and administrative institutions since 1997, when it won a tender to this effect issued by the Public Procurement and Financial Directorate of the Prime Minister’s Office.
