Fenestrae MDS Notification Service checks content of Microsoft Exchange
Server events (such as new mail, or calendar updates), based on notification
rules defined by the end user via the desktop. Only when such an event
matches one of the user-defined notification rules, a notification SMS is send
to the mobile device. These notifications in combination with Fenestrae MDS
Real Time, give users immediate access to the relevant email or calendar
item via web browsers of mobile devices. This solution supports the broadest
range of mobile phones regardless of operating system used, and without the
need for client software on the handheld. In addition, there is no data stored
on the mobile device, so if the device is lost or stolen, the data remains safe.
