Device agnostic mobile Instant Messaging

Fenestrae provides Microsoft Live Communication Server with the capability to securely and seamlessly provide instant messaging and presence to any mobile device, anywhere, anytime.

If an IM recipient is not at his desk, the Fenestrae solution will route instant messages to his mobile device. A message stating this is displayed in the IM window, so the sender knows he may not receive an instant answer. The reply to the message will be automatically routed to the originator of the IM session.

All traffic will be routed via Live Communications Server. Any logging that is applied to 'regular' IM traffic, will also apply to the 'mobile' IM traffic thereby keeping the total solution end to end secure and accountable.

For mobile communciations between LCS and the more than 1.5 billion mobile phones in use today, Fenestrae uses SMS or text messaging as it is the only true universal mobile data standard. SMS messaging is supported in an uniform way on all global major wireless networks.
